Info Scubapro brings out colored blades and foot pockets for their SuperNova and S-Tek Seawing Fins

For anyone following, it appears the color supernova fin blades can now be ordered from your favorite scubapro retailer. Still just blue, yellow, pink and turquoise blades. White and black separate foot pockets are not showing available anywhere yet, so you've got to already own a pair of supernovas and be willing to shelve the black or white blades to get your color on.

Just got a set of orange blades for the S tek, with the less than adequate advertisement description I didn’t know if it was priced right, it was written like it was a single blade so I went through Amazon so could just return them if it were only one, so it turns out it’s a pair and even includes colored locks, diving is out for another week or so but these will be given a good shakedown next time out.

If you have supernova’s these will also work on those foot pockets.

Oh nice, thanks for sharing! Those are VERY orange! Notice any difference in weight or flex compared to the black blades, any reason to think that they'll dive any different other than your buddy having a much easier time of finding you in the murk?

I expect they will dive the same but they do seem a touch stiffer, I added Skegs to my old ones, perhaps to soon to have given them a fair shake, others find them excellent as is so now I’ll be able to spend more time with them as designed.

You've always struck me as a straight shooter - honesty time - skegs were for the pop of orange, not necessarily for the hydrodynamics - am i right? Not going to pretend I didn't put blue skegs on my travel fins for reasons other than vanity

Mine are still in the box, I haven't gotten around to using them. Enjoying swimming with supernova on one foot and the gorilla on the other as well as not diving enough. Last dive was end of September. I should be diving this Friday, sea has been flat the last couple of days.

That was a part of it, maybe a big part but I also felt like they lacked so of the “finer” control that I felt with the supers, I’ll know if I reacted to soon after some dive time, but black Skegs would probably look cool…
