Any Experience with an Air Integrated Scubapro HUD/G2 Backups on a CCR?

Rebreather noob asking for input and feedback. Has anyone tried using Scubapro HUD/G2 in CCR modes as backup computers on their CCR? Pros? Cons?

I realize that the transponders will only be giving me pressure values like the analog gauges and will not be providing the unit data (O2 sensor, PO2 data, etc.) like the hardwired Shearwater computer is displaying.
