Any Claims Experience With DAN

I welcome hearing any actual claims expereience with DAN Travel Insurance. Having had a couple of travel insurance claims with other companies, my experiences have been both excellent and awful. Thanks,

I've made multiple Medical Cancellations with DAN over the years, but not on their separate travel insurance. I've probably gotten about $25,000 reimbursement across 3 or 4 claims. Doctors note and a month or two was all it took.

I have used them for many years and on a trip to Cayman Brac my wife had severe vertigo and ended up in the ED for about 5 hours. I paid the hospital and DAN reimbursed me in about a month.

That same trip we got evacuated on Wednesday (plan was to stay until Saturday) because a hurricane was going to hit the island. DAN travel insurance covered the extra cost for hotel on Grand Cayman and other out of pocket costs. They even made sure we submitted everything that was covered.

I will continue to use them for all trips outside the US.
