PS
i like pao's idea of the PPD as coordinating group... i think we can even get persmission to use the board as some sort of online coordination center? pero game mga ppd...

paolov:
Christmas ?! anak ng .... i would be in Cebu by then.....

grrrr.........

solanabezo, Can we make this a project of PPD ? where the members of PPD would be the official coordinating group.

cool idea but i think we should leave that to joel to decide on...they're the lead, we're just volunteers

compromise? joel will need a regular slave... este... volunteer labor group... if joel needs the help we can help with spreading the word, coordinating groups, surface and u/w operations during bouy placement operations...

pero tama ka din, joel's call...

There is no problem to that as of this stage. I think we can use PPD as the coordinating body for your (our) own volunteers. How many do you think will come on a specific date? There might be also the possibility of dividing the work among other dive clubs. There are about 20 to 30 bouys to be placed so we might need more vols.

we have about 20-25 regular ppders but chances are that a percentage of this group might not be able to make it on a certain date.

:D

hehehehehe, guys i know something you don't , that is why i invited Mr. Solanabezo here to our end of the world. Where we would gain support from both local and foreign divers. kasi sa local groups masyadong selfish. the philippines seas affects the entire world. it's sad most of the guys in the other forums are to occupied with their "local vested interest" .

I hope we, thru this Forum SCUBABOARD;

WE (PPD) CAN BE THE AMBASSADORS OF GOODFAITH TO THE WORLD, seriously. and PRotect and give HELP to our reefs. We can mobilize the entire globe and bring attention to our reefs that will call the attention of people concerned in the national level as well.

So if we can please leave commercialism out of this forum and put it in its proper place.

we can do it on a TAG TEAM basis - batch by batch attending

the good thing is too that this 20-25 regulars can easily "recruit" another 1-2 each who will share in the vision and be willing to do their part w/o the commercial/ vested interest

tag team is good, and so is "i vouch for my friend"...

that's how the calatagan (CAP-Oceans) thing started out and is now very successful... word of mouth and invitations through friends who share the vision and are vouched for by people closer to the initiating organizer (in this case solanabezo et al...)

gets ba? basta explain ko nalang at length sa tuesday
