Some families may be like the Osbourns. We are not.
Consider us a conservative family .. kinda like Ozzie and Harriet.

I didn't grow up here, and we didn't have the show in France...
Anyway, I don't think that the concept of a G or PG rated board (which it isn't BTW, unless someone removed the Warhammer maneuver) should have anything to do with conservative values, or progressive values for that matter.
We all accept the family orientation of the board. Those who don't, well, they usually don't stay too long. But looking at a recent thread, not every board member seems to subscribe to so-called "conservative values"...

Funny you should bring those two up. We have also talked about
both.
The vote was to get rid of the Warhammer Manuver. I just think none of us have gotten around to doing it.
And the other thread we are all watching.

I would have gotten rid of the WM. I'm still having nightmares over it ;-0

You really are on the ball. I believe all of us (Mods) hate polls. Not sure why we haven't gotten rid of them yet.

I considered not responding to your comments Natasha regarding my posting...but I am so offended by your action and inappropriate personal attack, I can't let it go. Ordinarily if I felt the need to respond, I would do so privately and without judgment, but because you are more experienced than me on posting I will follow your example. To be honest I have never been accused of anything other than being a conservative, with strong family values. I think they will be disturbed to find out I'm not. New or not to the board, I would not have changed a word of my post. There was nothing that I wrote that was inappropriate or suggestive. Additionally, there was nothing that I would not share at my dinner table. Besides being astonished by your actions and comments, comparing my value system to the Osborns is absolutely absurd. Quite frankly, I think Ozzy would agree with me. Perhaps my mistake was in using medical terminology for the legs, chin and arm pit. I just assumed that most of the people, if not all, who posted on this board were educated. On the positive side, I think my family can learn a lot from you -- as a matter of fact, at dinner tonight after grace, I will offer up my post and your remarks for an open discussion on how complacency fuels censorship.
Natasha- WHAT did my ultra-right wing (and therefore conservative at least politically) SB associate Marebythesea write that led to its deletion? Curious minds want to know. Obviously you can't repeat it here.

Holy mackerel (saw some in the Dive Park the other day)... the other thread Arnaud was referring to was my poll on politics of SB members. Natasha- the moderators really considered canning the most frequented thread I've started early on? Whatever for? I find that to be rather questionable. Maybe I'd better read all the posts in that thread, but I don't remember seeing anything too unreasonable based on my local community standards.
You know in some ways Europe has it all over the US... they seem to appreciate good healthy debate, and an equally healthy attitude towards that most fundamental of human cravings besides food!
