It isn't just that they get so worked up about these little things it's also strange to me how many people seem to find such pleasure in being critical of others.
Everyone have fun and dive safe, however you enjoy your dives, with whatever equipment makes you happy.

FWIW, I really like my snorkel. I prefer to breathe out of it than my reg at the surface- no explanations, just my preference. If I swim on my back, I tend to bump into things- and when I turn around to see what it is, it's NEVER a bikini clad Spartan. Can't figure that one out- curse of "the gods" I guess. Plus, I look really, really cool with it attached to my mask.

For the poster who inquired about folding snorkels: Mine is an Aqualung brand that folds into thirds. I have clip on it that I clip to a cable tie that is clipped deep in my BC pocket. It is there if needed. I have only used it once, but it is there for the Next t ime, whenever that is...
