I'm going to be conducting a clinic on bouyancy control on the morning of 10/28/06. Thats the weekend we are doing the UW pumpkin carving. Right now I have two people signed up. If you are interested, let me know. I will be in Texas for the rest of this week. So i won't be able to respond until next week.

Landlocked and jpsexton know about the golf ball drill and the ascent/descent line drill. They can probably answer any preliminary questions.

The focus of this clinic will be determining proper weighting and learning some skills to really refine bouyancy control and trim. Additionally we will work on finning techniques.

I second that reccomendation as well! If you have any bouyancy, trim, or weighting issues this will tune you right up. Shoot even if you don't have any issues he can help you get things dialed in perfect!

Since I am already planning on being down for the festivaties, count me in. Morning as in what time? Is this a freebie?

Hey jbd ... are you still planning on offering this clinic on 10/28? Any info on time and cost?

Re: the festivities on 10/28 ... what are the plans for the Pumpkin Carving at Joe's?

:embarassed: I'm such a :dunce: I forgot to respond to this thread:shakehead
Yes the clinic is still on. The fee is $20 and will include the booklet. Anyone interested please let me know so I can get the booklet in the mail to you as soon as possible.

We will be a bit pressed for time that day so if you have the booklet before hand it should help us move along and get into the water doing the drills quicker.

I apologize for not posting earlier about this.

What time would we need to be there to be able to do the clinic? I have a 2.5 hour drive and I'm trying to gauge how doable this might be for me.

I just talked to jbd on the phone and he wanted me to tell you guys he won't be able to get to a computer for maybe another day or so to respond. He did say he picked up some extra golf balls so there would be plenty to go around.:D I did'nt ask him about a start time so I we'll have to assume 10:00 is ok. He likes to get an early start usually so I'm sure that will be fine.

:(:(;( Sorry

Just out of curiosity, jdb will issue the speciality card for this seminar??

I can bring a few extra golf balls if we need....
