I missed a few, but I didn't peek.

I'm always slightly depressed (rather than "humored") when I watch "Jay Walking" on the Tonight Show and hear the absolutely clueless answers given by some of the people they choose to questions like this.

I agree those answers would qualify for an even higher office these days.
I believe #1 would be 101 including the VP
the Lakota are included in Sioux. Souix is a derogatory term as is Navajo.
Cherokee,Chickisaw,Creek,Seminole,Choctaw.(five civilized tribes)how ethnocentric

interesting ... of course, he is not elected to the Senate ... and only votes in case of a tie ...

but still, he does vote

Wilson suspended habeas corpus?
Wilson sent in troops to destroy presses of newpapers critical of his policies?
Wilson arrested people who spoke against his policies?
Wilson sent in troops to over see state elections and had voters arrested who attempted to vote for the opposition party?
Wilson exiled members of congress who were critical of his policies?
I wasn't aware Wilson did any of those things. Lincoln did all of them and none of them are powers granted to the President by the Constitution and therefore all of them were illegal.

Ah the Emancipation Proclamation, yet another illegal action by Lincoln. It exceeded his authority, not that exceeding authority ever slowed Lincoln. It was a political move4 to keep Britain and France out of the war. It "freed" slaves only in areas not under Lincoln's control. Therefore it freed no slaves. As the war progressed and territory was captured, slaves in those areas were freed, so yes, Lincoln did free some slaves, but he was never motivated to free slaves, if he were, he would have attempted (probably successfully) to free those in US territory. Many years before the war, there was a slave owner from Kentucky (if memory serves) who brought his slave into Illinois (a free state) as a migrant worker. While in Illinois, the slave escaped and sued for his freedom, making the point that when his owner brought him into a free state he became free automatically. Lincoln represented the slave owner in an attempt to return the man into slavery and in effect make Illinois a slave state.

Mossman:
Also DC isn't considered a territory. It's a federally-controlled district

Isn't that the definition of a territory? Admittedly, it's the only territory mandated in Article 1, but it's certainly not a state. If it were a state, the 23rd Amendment would have not been necessary. In fact, the amendment clearly states it is not a state.

....kinda like the patriot act.
Sounds like someone is still upset about The War of Northern Agression lol

Walter:
Ah the Emancipation Proclamation, yet another illegal action by Lincoln. It exceeded his authority

it was en executive order, fully within Lincoln's powers

it led to the freedom of over 4 million slaves.

and the war he waged to its conclusion (at times against enormous pressure to quit) led to the freedom of all slaves by 1865.

i wouldn't say that Lincoln didn't free any slaves

I don't think I'll be entering the US anytime soon...

A big fat ZERO for me...

Althought I think I got number 4 nearly right:

4. Name three US territories.

Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Iraq
