Jan. 1, 2015 - Frozen Fin NEW YEARS DAY DIVE
THURSDAY Jan. 1, 2015 - Frozen Fin NEW YEARS DAY DIVE (AKA NOT THE Blue Lip Dip DIVE).

Come join SECONN (Southeast CT) as we bring in the New Year for our 51st Annual Frozen Fin dive. We splash at 1 pm at Eastern Point Beach in Groton, CT. If you are feeling brave you can join the 10 am MALTA polar plunge. Registration for the Frozen Fin starts at 10 AM at the Project Oceanography Building on the UCONN Avery Point campus (less than a mile away). Afterwards we reconvene at Project Oceanography for chili, chowder, cornbread and cookies. There is a raffle with over 80 prizes and a separate tank raffle.
