Aloha Folks,
I'm a new noob from DK and have lots of technical questions (such as: Is Sherwoods new SR1 tech-compatible? It fulfills all requirements for Nitrox + Trimix, but is any1 actually using it for tech diving?) to which I hope to get some answers on one of these forums.

C ya, peeps

KRAFTFURZ, welcome to the board, Some of the old, old regulators used rubber seals which were not compatible with the newer gas mixes, if they have been maintained in recent years they will have seals that will tolerate Oxygen. Now as a new diver looking toward Technical diving, you should ask for the best cold water regulator, which won't be so all inclusive.

Click on the Forums button on the top of each page and scroll down through the topics, you'll find an area discussing technical diving and the equipment that works best for different conditions. Use their knowledge for a path for future purchases. . . just don't use their expertise to plan your current dives until you gain a lot more experience in easier conditions.

Click on the "Forums" button on the top of the page and scroll down the long list of topics including Technical, and scroll way down to " Regional Travel and Dive clubs" were you may find discussions of diving in your area. Welcome.
