I had one day or blue shark diving cancelled this summer due to the weather. Put in a claim with WN and they fully covered the cost of said diving ($350).
What did the coverage cost?
 
Around $75.
So if you lose 1 in 4 trips you are money ahead with the insurance.
 
In this scenario, yes. Obviously the cost will vary depending on where you go, how long, etc.
Does the insurance cost remain the same regardless of what value is being insured?
 
World Nomads has a cutoff at 70 years. I'm 72.
