I hate to change this thread's topic because i still would like everyones suggestions on getting to Key Largo, but If someone could give me links to another thread......I guess i would also like to ask if you guys have any suggestions about dive operations and the best sites to look out for and does any of the ones suggested have restriction? Such as Basic or Advance diving only?

This was a drive by jacking! :D

IMO the keys has perfect diving for the beginner, and anyone who loves marine life, reefs, and diving. Most reefs are 40fsw or less, and one can stay down for 60 minutes per dive. What is not to like?

As for DiveOps, here are some threads, they are not hard to find as they popup ALL the time.

IMO I never dove a BAD site off Largo. I did the Benwood, the Grove, Mollassas reef, French reef, N DryRocks, NN Dryrocks, Elbow Reef, City of Washington, and others. EVERY dive was fun, and they are all different. If I had to name my favorite... well impossible, but French Reef was awesome as the day we dove we had 100+ vis and it's a really cool reef. The City of Washington had the best big Marine life with Jewfish, and Nurse Sharks on every dive, and there is a reef right next to the wreck so you can kinda get the best of both worlds. The Grove is a really fun dive, but it is advanced, and more Ops are starting to Require advanced certs to do this dive -or- hire a DM for the dive to follow you around like a puppy dog...here fido, fido, come here little puppy,
Bring the slippers, Arf, arf, arf

haha....i know thats why i asked for the links. Have been searching for airline tickets from Pensacola to Ft. Lauderdale. It's coming to around $275. Didn't know flying from Florida to Florida cost that much?
