ams511:Stu, where you diving at? For many of us the LDS is not an issure for air. If you dive in a commerical park they are going to have air/nitrox. If you dive in the ocean their should be an LDS close to it. If you dive off a commerical boat they can supply tanks (granted not with exotic mixes).
Florida state parks don't have air, and what slows me down is that a lot of dive locations have air, but nitrox is often a drop-off and pick 'em up tomorrow deal. That was easy when the dive store was in my neighborhood.
How about a self-serve nitrox filler at your local Florida Publix market?
