I found a video online showing the Shearwater Perdix AI and two transmitters used by an expert sidemount diver. There are several AI dive computers that can connect to more than one transmitter at the same time. In most cases, though, you have to manually switch to the reading of another transmitter underwater. For sidemount it would be nice to have the pressures of both tanks in your screen at any given time. In the video below, there's a nice shot of that at 2:55.
The Perdix can do this, as the video shows. Any other dive computers that have this possibility? Is it something you expect more in the future? Specialist sidemount computers or modes?

I dive SM with two transmitters and two Perdix. Both transmitters go to both computers. This is how I have my display set up. I don’t want to have to press a button to see both tank pressures. Where the display shows NO COMMS is where tank pressures show.

Exactly. I mentioned the Perdix myself. But are there other computers that can do that? Will there be more in the future, you think?

I think the Suunto Core might be able to, but I’m not sure. As long as Shearwater is making excellent computers, I have no reason to go elsewhere.

I am looking into the Eon Core (I own that dive computer). I can get 'tank pressure' twice on one screen (together with other vital dive info), but since I have only one transmitter, I cannot test if I can get two different transmitter readings in those positions. I asked Suunto as well, who knows.

To my knowledge Suunto won't show two transmitters. Big disappointment for a friend of mine. It may have changed with new firmware, but I don't believe it has.

Ratio computers do as well as the SP G2 (and possibly the SP A2).
I had a look at the Ratio computers. I can't really compare user-friendliness to for example the Perdix, but on paper, the iX3M Tech+ looks very good (in terms of features and possibilities). And only €599 for a complete package including adjustable Bühlmann GF, Trimix, sidemount mode, AI for 10 tanks, etc. compared to Perdix' €1000 here in Europe...

As an aside, Steve Martin's sidemounting.com has a great range of training videos and, IMHO, is well worth paying the money for. Good to see it expanding.
