Hmm, we had other rescue divers as 'victims' in my rescue course - I assume that's OK?ckharlan66:Anyone can lug gear etc., but, you have to be a professional (ie DM or higher) to work with the students or do demostrations. So in my understanding you can help with the class but only as a gopher.

good pointpir8:Actually you don't even have to be rescue to play victim. It's encouraged to bring in people to encourage them to continue their education of diving.
If your thinking that Rescue makes you an EMS type of diver, it doesnt in any way shape or form.katnel:I had never considered it before but reading some of the posts made me curious.

Anyone can play victim in a rescue class, but you must be a renewed and insured DM or higher to participate in any instruction or supervision of divers in any course.
