I'm a new diver looking at getting my first set of Regs. I've found a great package deal with this regulator but I've had a hard time finding information on it. I think it may have recently been discontinued. I'm looking for some input.

Also one site i looked at said the first stage is environmentally sealed, anyone know if that is actually the case?

I know this is probably way too late, but I have been diving the Aeris Atmos Pro for five years. It is a very good regulator that is, indeed, environmentally sealed. The first state has a swivel attached to the regulator hose that is very effective in combating hose-induced jaw fatigue.

A little late indeed but still appreciated. I actually ended up deciding to wait and not get a regulator at that time. I did however receive what I think is a fairly similar regulator for Christmas, Hollis DC2 212. I haven't gotten a chance to breath it yet but I'm planing on using it in the pool tomorrow for my intermediate scuba class that I am taking here at the University of Texas.
