Started the year with about 35 dives. Got laid off around June. Result: Accomplished PADI Rescue, UTD intro to tech and Tech 1 (assuming my experience dives this sat. go ok). Met lots of new dive buddies and logged almost 200 dives. Bought a couple sets of doubles, can light and a scooter. Goals for next year include Tech 2, diving my ass off!

2009
Sold everything I owned and moved to Indonesia. Best decision I have made in a while. :D

2010
Continue to build the HS dive club I run.
Become fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
Surf one day for every two days I dive.
Bluewater hunt big tuna off Java.
Perhaps get to Raja Ampat for two weeks. Gotta start saving now.

I got Open Water certified at the end of September and got about 8 dives in before finals week at school ended my diving for the year. I also bought a BP/W. And I'm graduating college! Not too bad for '09.

As far as 2010, I'll be moving back to the Tampa area, Brooksville to be exact, this weekend. I look forward to diving with the Tampa SBers and buying a regulator set, dive computer and wetsuit. I also would like to take the nitrox and advanced open water classes in 2010.

AOW
first cavern dives in DR
first warm water dives in DR
got BP/W
will hit 50 dives while in Jamaica this month (I know, pretty pathetic.....)

2010

Rescue Diver course starts in January (already signed up)
heard a rumour that GUE Fundies course will be run locally next spring
dive, dive, dive & dive some more

and , no doubt, I'll find more ways to spend money on gear!

Got Nitrox Cert
Made first trip to Dutch Springs

In 2010 I am hoping to take Rescue and do as many dives as I possibly can.

2009:

- A Little Cayman dive trip made me want to dive *much* more
- bought a Fusion to dive locally and extend my season
- was fortunate to meet up with great DNY SBers and practice with the drysuit
- did Fundies with said buddies - got a Rec pass
- got a used set of doubles and just managed to get a few dives
- got more than 50 dives in this year :D

2010:
- want to upgrade my Fundies Rec pass to a Tech pass, so more doubles dives and add a primary light to the kit
- start visiting the cold-water sites on my list: St. Lawrence River, Great Lakes wreks
- practice skills with the intention of doing either UTD Intro to Tech or GUE Tech 1 ... at some point
- maybe take Rescue - need to find agency and instructor that will provide the type of course I want
- more dive travel - time and $$ permitting
- get more comfortable servicing my regs (Hog/Edge course maybe)
