We left ord 45 minutes late. Made up 16 minutes in the air and deplaned at 505 look over and our Saab flight yo Cayman Brac was boarding. We waived down an airline representative and explained we were suspised yo be excourted to the plane. They held the plane while we ran through security. Made the plane at the last second as our luggage was put on. The escort guy said they never hold the plane that long so we felt very lucky to have made it.

@Candiru Just wondering about your trip to CBBR, did you have good weather, how did you like the resort and the diving? So glad that you were able to make the connection for the flight to Brac - and your luggage made it, too!

The winds were high all week so we never got the opportunity to go to little cayman. We did get to dive both sides of the islands and I really enjoyed the variety of dive sites. The pool and bar areas were fantastic. This was by far the nicest pool I’ve seen in the Caribbean. I also enjoyed the dive operation. I thought they were going to be very restrictive about the dives but in reality this wasn’t the case. We did our own thing and only really saw other divers at the safety stop. I would have no reservations about recommending the resort to friends.

Sorry to hear about the winds, did you dive the Tibbetts wreck? Glad that you had a good week despite the weather.

Mike and all others who might be interested.......if you want to see what Eden Rock/Devils Grotto looked like 30 + years ago I got the place .

It's a swim but worth it.....if any remember GoPro dive Op a little south of Sunset House you might have been close...anyway if you enter the water at Sunset House and make a left (I usually surface swim) go past the 5 tanks on land ( about 200 yard swim) once you reach where GoPro used to be start your dive and head out to the shallow wall and again head south (left) you will shortly enter what looks like Devils Grotto did 30 years ago with almost NO dive pressure ...It is an amazing dive.

Another great dive is South of Boddentown but you really need to do it from a boat as a drift dive the topography is almost alien compared to the rest of Cayman the walls start a bit deeper also about 130 feet there are no mooring balls so it needs to be done as a drift Alex777 has done this dive with me years ago not sure if ever got a chance to do it again.
