Accommodation and diving Kona

I hope I can get some good advice. I will be visiting Honolulu in late October, and am planning to travel to Kona for 3 or 4 days diving. I will be travelling alone, and will not have transport on the island. I am looking for cheap accommodation and diving. In terms of the accommodation I just need a place to sleep, and in terms of diving, I am competent, would like to do the Manta night dive and whatever else there is. I don't particularly like "cattle boats", and prefer smaller groups.

We very much enjoyed diving with Wannadive Kona last winter. Steve runs a sixpack and he and his divemasters were absolutely fantastic. He is on scubaboard as friscuba.
