Accessing Dive Info on the UEMIS SDA

I have a question for a friend who really wants to purchase a used Uemis dive computer.. Ooops, I mean "SDA"..
He's not a SB member and isn't big on the whole Internet "thing", but he loves solar cells.. Go figure..
From what I am reading, Diving Log (which I own and enjoy) has the ability to download via the web portal that handles Uemis' dive logs.. Not sure the portal is even still around?? Don't like that medium even if it is..
Has anyone come up with a direct dive log manager that doesn't require code-level computer knowledge? ie. install, download, review, export (if needed)..?

...and Home - uemis - THE UNDERWATER REVOLUTION is up again. I am not aware of any new infos about the auction outcome from the insolvency, where the uemis.com domain is also up for sale. So, the future of the website is still pretty much in limbo...

Is anyone in contact with Fabian? I've sent him several emails but never got a response. His offline downloader looks really nice and seems to be working for some users, I wonder why he don't release it, even if it's still beta.
