I think it worked, it sent a command and got a response which I hope will mean something to TnT :)

The test was indeed successful.

There was only one minor issue. I assumed the req.txt file is already present when you connect the uemis, but it seems that isn't the case. The absence of that file causes the app to fail. However when you launch the SyncSDA.html page first, it will create the file. I'll update the test app to also create the file if it's not already there.

Looking good, here is my result:

Which looks a lot more promising.

Hope this helps!

Hi guys,

I'm a bit concerned that we still have to go through the Uemis web site before being able to download to Divinglog from there. This works perfectly, but only as long as the site doesn't disappear... Or did I miss anything? There was no contribution to this thread for 13 days, please don't give up :crying2:

You clearly didn't read the thread very carefully. I haven't used the uemis website in months and have logged more than two dozen dives since then. You can use divinglog (Windows) or subsurface (if you are on Linux) - after you have extracted the SDA files with myuemis.jar which was also linked to from here.

For now,

- the UEMIS website still works and no one seems to exactly know the fate of the website for the next months.
- as Dirk pointed, the command line + available parser do (most of) the job to extract the data (except some additional data). It's not as straightforward as simply plugging the computer and running a software or some sync but at least it works nicely. No upload attempt for now as writing the memory is more risky than reading it.
- there are still developments ongoing.

So there are actually enough solutions for now to get your dive profile on and off the internet and more are on the way. No worries to have and I don't feel anyone has given up. :)
