It is quit clear you are not looking for a DIR answer.
What it seems you are looking for is someone to say it's ok that you do things your own way.
So by all means dive any way you like!
This is not a DIR issue at all you are simply a guy diving any way you choose.
And I for one do not see a problem with it.
I myself would choose not to dive with you on any thing more serious than a rec level dive.
This again is just my 2 cents!!
Thanx,
Milo

lamont:
clearly if he was going DOWNTOWN he'd need a BODYBAG with that kind of STAR WARS CANTINA SETUP.

now that i've channeled GI3 does that mean the thread is over?
:rofl2:

Perhaps it's a bit nuanced, but Andy is a lawyer, and I'd bet he makes a distinction between seeking responses from DIR divers and seeking a DIR response.

I guess that's why he said, "i'd like DIR diver's responses, which is why i put it here"

yes, exactly, vladimir

what i am looking for is the reasons behind why it's a good idea to do/not do
those thigns. that way i can evaluate them and incorporate them into my decision.

i have received some excellent reponses, so thanks to those DIR divers who
took the time to respond

So I'll take that as a no then...

In that case I agree with all the "Gonna die a horrible strokey death" opiners just to taunt you. :14:

lamont:
you are clearly not a DIR diver.

correct, though i adopted the DIR configuration and passed DIR-F.
however, i think you will find several posts by me (even in the DIR forum)
where i state i am not a DIR diver.

the issue is not "am i DIR or not?"

the issue is, "is there a better way to do x than the DIR way?"

you done and confused me...

(don't get too happy; it's rather easy to do)

Note the cunning lawyer response. He's not thanking JeffG. :14:

He asked you a question in post #108

CD_in_Chitown:
Can us regular joe's chime in now that the we've reached 10+ pages?

I think spg at the chest might cause problems with Inflator hose routing and stage connections, has this been an issue?
