A shore dive?? I thought scallops like the colder deeper water around 70+ feet? Enlighten me if I am mistaken. I've never seen them from a shore dive. Nice grab, no matter where you got 'em. Scallops are a very, very close second to lobstah on my "Love to Eat List". I'll have to do a scallop dive this summer.

When I originally posted the pic, it was after seeing adshepard's report about it being 29 on a recent dive. It wasn't that cold when the picture was taken



Yes, scallops usually like it deeper but sometimes you get lucky.
