I was going through my pictures and found this one. It reminded me that we aren't that crazy to do what we do. This was bag one of four for me that day :)

A shore dive?? I thought scallops like the colder deeper water around 70+ feet? Enlighten me if I am mistaken. I've never seen them from a shore dive. Nice grab, no matter where you got 'em. Scallops are a very, very close second to lobstah on my "Love to Eat List". I'll have to do a scallop dive this summer.

When I originally posted the pic, it was after seeing adshepard's report about it being 29 on a recent dive. It wasn't that cold when the picture was taken :)



Yes, scallops usually like it deeper but sometimes you get lucky.
 
Nothing wrong with having a little bit of luck.
