Last week I visited my local bookstore and picked up a copy of "SUBMERGED" by Daniel Lenihan. Lenihan was founder and director of the Submerged Cultural Resources Unit of The National Park Service and his book recounts various projects he participated in as well as personal underwater explorations. Well written with self-effacing humor and candor. Diving in Florida caves, Mexico caves, Micronesia, Great Lakes, USS Arizona, the Keys, Aleutians.
