I have Dan MacKay's book. It's very good. I've also been able to bounce things off a number of DIR divers to get the "whys". The videos have been EXTREMELY helpful for a couple of things. Stuff not addressed in the books. Things most people would laugh at! Like not knowing why the buckle was attached to the left side of the waist harness. I diddn't know you put the buckle and all through the crotch strap! LOL!

It's tough being a newbie!
