I just ordered one up to keep clipped to my BC for the times when I have the wrong lens on my camera and will only get my paws on it in a couple of weeks, once I am back from a trip.

In the interim, I had a question for anyone who has used this or previous-get housings: can you use any camera app with the bluetooth controls (native app, Blackmagic or whatever), or are you limited to the DiveIT camera app?

TIA

I have a WFH05 which I rather like. I use a seperate app to connect to the case called Dive Connect. It's a little fiddly but more reliable than the Kraken app although it doesn't allow exposure control from what I can figure out.

The WFH07 uses DiveIT - the app is pretty cool and you also get a dive computer, depth, etc overlaid on the device. But they also want a subscription to let you shoot 4k, which offends me in principle - I dont mind paying a subscription to use features of the app, but to access functions built into my own phone? GTFO with that nonsense.
