the grate covers the entry point for the water. Fresh water spring, coming from underground river system.

Underwater it's the Nikon D200, above the D300. Damn shame the housing won't fit the D300, I like the camera better. You can't go changing housings and ports every time a new camera comes out.

Get trip insurance. It's a recipe that makes the camera flood on the last dive of the last day. .. I actually have a buddy that happened to. It was honestly a fluke that it happened that way. We still poke fun at him because of it though.
