Just curious. I found the 5th d-x site and ordered the DVD, fundamentals of recreational diving. I read over their site and they frequently reference GUE; are they affiliated with GUE?

Not any more ... the folks who created 5th D-X were all GUE instructors ... one of them is the former GUE training director.

Then an X-schism happened, and they were all X-communicated ...

No. They are former GUE instructors. Both Andrew and Joe are top notch instructors, I don't know Delia.

Too much politics to explain - don't ask.

When you watch the DVD, you may note a few small differences in procedure from what you were taught in Fundies, especially in the S-drill. The big things are the same.

Thanks all.
