5 MM or Combi---brands?

I am buying my first suit and I wondered what y'all thought about an affordable, reliable brand and whether I should go 5 mm or combi. This is primarily for those places like the Red Sea in April, Croatia in June-July. Got any recommendations?

What temperatures are you going to eb diving? 5mm would probably be fine for the red sea, but Croatia... What are the water temps?
As far as brands go, I find Bare has good value for the price and they have a huge size selection to help you find the best fit possible.
