25 more posts and it will surpass "I want to see a tank explode"

Hmm i wonder what plan we could have for a diver in distress at a mooring buoy who's tank explodes causing him to sink :)

MoonWrasse:
So, Andy, are you saying the Scuba Board TOS / forum guidlines are just a joke?
Geez, I'd hope not. That's dissapointing.

lol

is that what i am saying? or is that what you are saying?

:eyebrow:

MoonWrasse:
Andy, I don't think there is a ambiguity as to what I was asking of you.
To repeat myself : I hope that all posters including the Scuba Board staff and
moderators take the TOS and forum guidelines seriously.

that is indeed a commendable sentiment!

and i wholeheartledly agree

so how did you get to that statement from Pilot Fish talking about a
hand-fired catapult? :06:

i hope you're not suggesting that Pilot Fish is not taking the TOS seriously.
he has spent a lot of time and effort on this thread, clearly concerned
about the issue

MoonWrasse:
Sounds like you're arguing to not even try.

Yes, it does sound argumentative. If he doesn't think my suggestion has merit, it might not, then why doesn't he offer his own?

Once again we find you wildly speculating.

H2Andy:
or that for every possible solution, there are additional problems that may make
the solution less than desirable

if the diver couldn't hold on to the bouy, how would he hold on to a line
catapulted to him?

if he couldn't follow directions to stay put, how was he going to follow
directions to get a hold of the catapulted line?

the worst thing about non-existant problems is that they create wholy
unsatisfactory solutions

With that type of thinking we would never have landed on the moon.

We don't know what instructions he got at the mooring ball, or why he was unable to hold on, or washed off?

Snapping Turtle:
Pilot Fish, my boy, I think you have lost all sense of reason. You constantly keep coming up with off-the-wall possible scenarios involving distressed divers.

Don't you ever get tired of hearing yourself talk?

Geez, to cover every possible contingency that you pull out of your diving delerium a boat would have to be the size of a freaking aircraft carrier to carry all of the gear to save one of your pitiful victims!

This fellow has a total of 3 posts, ahem , and is this envolved in this thread? He's so tired of hearing me talk. rrrrrrrrright :eyebrow:

MoonWrasse:
Non-existant problems?
As I recall people have died, so you consider that a "non-existant problem"?

If there was a plan in place perhaps that diver, and a few others, might not have perished? Yup, I'd call that a problem
