Very little details. It does drive home the answer to "Do I really need DAN diver insurance or trip insurance if I just do cruise boat excursions?" YES! The American Embassy will ship your body home, but they do expect payment.

A 35-year-old US tourist died yesterday in a scuba diving tragedy in Antigua.

Details remained sparse up to news time but police confirmed the man was taken to hospital and pronounced dead shortly after 11.30am Friday.

He is said to have arrived in the country by boat and was accompanied by his wife.
