I suppose the NCAA will use the prevailing "fairness doctrine" to dismantle or otherwise handicap the SEC to promote parity within the BCS.

Well, I seriously hope they finally pull Musburger and Herbstreit off the air! They totally embarrassed themselves with their inappropriateness over AJ's girlfriend. I have to wonder though, what she thought of the poor kid after his locker room meltdown after the game they lost.

As we all know, SEC RULES!!!!

Looking forward (I hope) to a new season of SEC football this fall.

We should have sent Vanderbilt to play Notre Lame last night. At least it would have been entertaining.

It's always been that way. The press has always loved ND. It's the only team that can start a season not ranked, win their first 3 or 4, and find themselves in the top 10. It's a joke. That game last night should have never been played. If ND was in the SEC they would be a .500 team at best. That type of game reinforces the need for a playoff system. If there was one, ND would have been out in the first round and you could end up with a really great game for the championship. Like the Alabama/Georgia game was. No doubt if Alabama had kept the hammer down, it could have easily been 56 - 0.

They should have kept the hammer down just to reenforce your point about a play-off system that works.

So where are they playing the SEC Invitational next year?

Anyone want to bet that Texas A&M will be at the show? I am a Gator fan all the way, but I know a winning team when I see one. And Johnny Football will do wonders for attracting great talent to College Station.
