most of the SEC isn't all that excited about MU and Texas A&M joining.

It's nothing against MU and Texas A&M though... they just don't want to quit playing their historical rivalries because they are gonna be forced to pick up games against "new teams"

That makes sense, and I can't say I blame them.

while this isn't SEC.... damn glad right now I'm not a Penn State fan...


They fired Paterno earlier this evening over the Sandusky sex molester scandal.

I am not a big fan of the new teams to the SEC.
I have nothing againt them, I am just old & stodgy about tradition.
On the bright side, A&M coming in will definely hurt Texas.
It will mean that more great Texas kids can go to A&M and get superior competition without leaving their Texas home and travelling to Lousiana, Missssippi, or even as far as Alabama.
I despise Texas.
They are like Notre Dame with their TV deals and lousy attitude about their weak assed conference.

I love SEC Football.
Every day is BATTLE!
Other than Vandy that can kinda' scare you once in a while, there are great teams here.
I admire Vandy's academics beyond measure.
