Didn't see it, but rumor has it that Florida won a game. Hope it's true.

Or did God bless her with a wonderful husband and you are just along for the ride.

Is it fair for 1 loss Bama to be ranked below Stanford and Boise State neither of whom have played anybody? Bama should go to 3.

IMO Bama should still be #2 but the computers won't allow it.

Yay... we won one... finally.

I hope we are only in transition... I don't want another Doug Dickey. He routinely snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. :D

Glad to see BCS has Bama at #3.

Pete, you are spot on. The Gator Nation would not tolerate another Dickey style staff. We've gotten used to winning.

I'll express the unpopular view: 'Bama shouldn't be allowed to play for the title even if they come out second in the BCS. I don't doubt they are a good team, but they had their shot at home and they lost. I just have too many bad memories about Ohio State and Michigan, and everyone saying how they were clearly the best two teams in the country and should play again. And then both of them got destroyed in their Bowl games.

I am solidly of the view that you have to open it up. I am also still mindful of the fact that Oregon outplayed LSU for much of their opening game, although LSU are clearly much better now than they were then.

I think what you mean Rhone man is that Bama shouldn't play LSU in a rematch for the BCS title.

if so, I agree Rhone Man... they had their shot and lost it. the national title isn't a "rematch". It wouldn't be fair to LSU's players.

So if it it came down to (god forbide) a undefeated Boise State or a one loss Bama vs LSU in the National Championship your mind wouldn't change?
