Kim:Ok..great - the system allowed you to vote again.
CLA:Thanks Chip and Jag for the link. Tried reading the original thread but only got to page7. But I think I get the picture-- it's basically a place where you can speak tagalog. Ok yon-- at least I don't have to worry about my English grammar, spelling, (political correctness maybe?). Sounds like a comfy place to hang out.
Still deciding my vote. "pasaway" is a very appropriate word to describe our group but my worry is - baka mabaduy yung expression when it's no longer "uso". Everyone seems to be using it now but what about a year or two from now? What do you think, Jag? Your the linguist of our group.
true about uso... but i think it's safe enough to use considering that there are no real other alternatives to the word in the local language... kind of like the word "baduy"... although more current incarnations like "chaka" have been floated, "baduy" still retains its original use and has not lost "uso"CLA:Thanks Chip and Jag for the link. You can't anymore change your vote. But maybe you can vote again...thats how it is done in the Philippines.chip104:can I change my vote? I was swayed with Cathy's and Ben's argument. I'm with Bahay Kubo na.
CLA:Ok then. Anyway, we can always change it when we get tired of it. Can we wait for more suggestions before voting? Kinda liked Iris's suggestion because it reminded me of my favorite comics (rather than "extra challenge"). Please remind us of the deadline for voting.
