Did PST ever renew the DOT permit number? I am seeing a lot of PST tanks showing up on Craigslist.

Yes
- permit renewed

I would buy those tanks in an instant. (with Hydro Guarantee)

manni-yunk is correct. DOT renewed their "exemption". but it came with a new exemption that just expires in 4 more years.

so... on midnight of Jan 31, 2015, they "turn into pumpkins again"

I could never understand why someone selling a steel tank out of hydro doesn't just get
the hydro done before the sale ? It would seem they would be much easier to sell and you would
certainly be able to cover the cost of the hydro with your new asking price. If they don't pass then
you would not have to worry about an unhappy buyer.

Agree.

but people do stuff all the time to keep their stuff from selling.

A guy here the other day started a thread saying he had tanks for sale..... Didn't bother to say what brand, if they were steel or aluminum, what type of valves they had on them, if they were in hydro, vis, or o2 cleaned.

I almost replied to it asking if he really just didn't want to sell them because of the lack of information. but didn't.

so then people had to post stuff like "what brand are they", etc. All stuff that should have been included in the original post.

Also... PICTURES. Pictures will help sell your item. It's way to easy to do now days since everyone has a cell phone with a camera. but still people don't always do it. oh well.

You would think this stuff was obvious, but you'd be wrong. Great post.

I know it has been awhile, (started and then lost a full time job since, and then started another new job lol) but what ever happened with these?
