Hello All:

My first post. Been trolling the boards for awhile and could not find this question, so here is goes:

I found a great deal on an new Apeks ATX 200 1st stage reg that I could not pass up and am wondering if I would be going astray (compatibility issues) getting a Zeagle Zx 2nd Stage reg to pair up with the Apeks 1st stage.

I bought the Apeks because it had a good rep, its enviro seal and used one once on a dive which I liked. I would buy the apeks 200 or 100 2nd reg but kind of hard to find sold seperately for a decent price. The Zeagle line looks good and I have used them before and thought they were great and I can find the 2nd stage sold seperately everywhere. Also, love my Zeagle Ranger, hence the reason I am leaning toward Zeagle for my 2nd stage reg.

Feel free to share your thoughts, look forwad to hearing what you all have to say.

Thanks!

Tony

They should work together just fine.
Yet another reason I buy Zeagle, how many companies do you know of respond to a message board question in less than one hour that is not even on their own web site!!!

I also called Zeagle today for another question I had, the phone was picked up in less than one ring and a friendly girl addressed my questions quickly and professionally. I work for a state government and I appreciate good service when I get it and make sure to make it know when I recieve good service as it seems to be a dying commodity.

Thanks again!

It would be wise to have the intermediate pressure checked and be sure that the second stage adjustment is properly set. Something any Zeagle dealer can do for you.
