where are they launching it? The water looks very tanic acidy. I doubt visibility in that water would even be half the length of the sub. The bow planes fold down, but I am not seeing how they pivot a single thruster in the stern is going to make controlling her pretty complicated.

A very curious design.

It is a river near Virginia Beach Virginia. I wish I'd taken pictures of the helm and controls, but I didn't....

@CT-Rich, it held roughly 12 people on the surface, so it is pretty spacious.
 
So what was it built to accomplish? Tours?
 
To dive wrecks that are illegal to dive on?
Be just the unit to do deco and travel back home on... look like similar to a sidd mil units.
 
I was go buy that thing for $700. Saw it 20 years ago at a dive shop in Newport Rhode Island. The guy over paid for it from the scumbag seller. Good luck with it.
 
As craigslist ads don't last long it has either sold or been reposted. If the latter, I would advise the seller to throw in a couple sheets of plywood and if he really wants a quick sale, a few gallons of gas.
