10/2 breakwater night dive

7pm Night dive, FUN!, numerous (stopped counting after 5) octopus over the sand starting at about ~25fsw. Big spiny lobster in sand next to rocks ~20fsw. Shoals of mixed perch and rockfish (lots of 6in long coppers and blacks) along the rocks, more numerous and shallower than seen during daylight. Zero wind and clear.

opps forgot about the vis. It was at least the 10ft my torch was lighting up, probably 10-15

No, just sitting there in the sand near the rocks. I wonder if it's a single individual that has been sighted previously, of if there is a population of them there
