Screw the 200PSI. Bring a snorkel.

I just wanted to make sure I have this correct....

When cave diving, we dive 1/2+200 on back gas because it gives us 1/2 in, 1/2out, and 200psi to adjust for ambient pressure, right?

Thought I'd post and ask, because this is something that wasn't covered during my cavern class, intro/full are too expensive, and doesn't seem to get asked enough online :D

Exactly, so 1/2 of 3600 is 1800. Add another 200 to that and it makes 2000. That means my turn pressure is 1600!! Thanks for asking that. Now I can go do some real penetration dives!!! :cool2:

... almost feel like putting a big red WARNING label on that post ... like the ones they put on baby strollers telling you to remove the baby before folding up the stroller ...

 ... :idk: ...

Nice, I bet this would work for wrecks as well as it does in caves. I'm getting a longer reel!

... or just put really thin line on the reel you already have. Imagine how much #6 monofilament you could get on a standard 400-ft reel ...

No, you need to integrate your gas consumption across a fractal manifold in N-space, keeping the Reimann tensor invariant to CPT-violating symmetry breaking as you quantize space and time.

Its all covered in GUE Cave 2, don't other agencies teach this stuff? Its really basic.

Dude, thats an awesome idea... that stuff wouldn't even affect the asthetics of the cave, its nearly invisible UW! Brilliant!
