I just wanted to make sure I have this correct....
When cave diving, we dive 1/2+200 on back gas because it gives us 1/2 in, 1/2out, and 200psi to adjust for ambient pressure, right?
Thought I'd post and ask, because this is something that wasn't covered during my cavern class, intro/full are too expensive, and doesn't seem to get asked enough online
Exactly, so 1/2 of 3600 is 1800. Add another 200 to that and it makes 2000. That means my turn pressure is 1600!! Thanks for asking that. Now I can go do some real penetration dives!!! :cool2:

Nice, I bet this would work for wrecks as well as it does in caves. I'm getting a longer reel!

... or just put really thin line on the reel you already have. Imagine how much #6 monofilament you could get on a standard 400-ft reel ...
