The couple are friends of mine, who were there for their honeymoon and she is missing...I joined this board today just to see if someone else had some information.
I dont imagine there is any more current there than anywhere
>else-but if she is from Ontario it might have been too much.We are
>always worried about getting novice divers as PADI just doesnt give
>them enough training.When I did my course back in 1976-it was 6

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy. Sad that on what should have been a joyous occasion tragedy reared it‘s ugly head. May the body be recovered so the family can have closure with this and find the strength deal.

Boy agency bashing just goes on in every forum. Give it a rest Mike

I happen to live right in the area and i know my information is correct

your friend "RCMP" doesnt know what hes talking about !

they found her with her mask off an regulator out of her mouth.

i will get my dad to post and he will verify my info

i am sorry you dont belive me but i dont lie about these things :bash: :argue:

And that press release was dated july 5th it is now july 12th

i got my info on thrusday the 7th

they just havent updated the news

and i dont think that it was the RCMP that found her i think it was just some rec divers

I am a friend of the couple involved. It is upsetting for the family and friends to be hearing of a possible recovery when nothing has been confirmed. The missing diver's husband does not need to be upset any more then he is and we would all appreciate only news that has been confirmed. If it were true her husband would have been notified, and to my knowledge he has not been told of any recoveries.

If it has been confirmed that her body has been found please give some contact information so we can verify.

To anyone out there who is a friend or family member of the victim, my heartfelt condolences to you all. We are grieving the loss of such a beautiful and wonderful person in such a tragic and untimely way. We will miss her dearly. Our support also goes out to her husband as he deals with his loss.

So What? I took my NAUI course in 1977. We did open water rescue, CPR, High altitude diving, ran the tables for deco dives and we built pretty pipe structures in the pool. I just finished a NAUI course and we did not do any of that stuff and it was not strenuous. What’s your point?

Wow ... talk about inappropriate. And on your very first post, no less ... :11:

Folks who cared about this woman are reading this forum. That may not matter to you ... but it sure would to anyone with a shred of human empathy.

Your profile lists you as a dive operations owner/employee. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us as to which one ... I'm sure all the PADI divers reading your post would like to know which business to avoid ...
