I take my hat off to you Matt and your team. Along with the discovery of MV pioneer Cebu you've significantly contributed to the diving industry here in the country! Keep it up!
It's also nice to hear that Danny has 95% recovered. (according to Ellen) I just find it annoying why they had to...
Thanks! I'll google San Jose dive camp. Boat from Aquaventure is now 8k. Twice the price since I last went to verde via aqua.
Sabang is an option but I you miss the last ferry back to batangas then you're stuck for the night. Hehe
Hi guys! I usually go to verde island via aqua venture but their boat rates increased a lot. Can someone recommend another boat? It doesn't have to be from aqua venture. It can come from any beach in batangas, the closer the better.
Thanks
Nice way to spend valentines day! Congrats on your renewal of vows.
Re: diving there, i posted a thread here in SB and in diversions a couple of years back, got the same replies. Reef is dead cause of dynamite fishing, and there are too many fish pens put up. I dunno how the situation is...

Apo island? No Sharks there.
I thought they had hammerheads in that wall in malapascua? I read it in one the Malapascua threads here in SB... Lucky guy...
I don't think i'll be seeing one soon, so i gotta be happy viewing Paks avatar. :)

I think January is start of the season, maybe even clearer waters and less visitors.
Dive...

It'll make me feel like Paul Walker in the movie "into the blue" haha
yup its manta bowl, near ticao island. I was there 1quarter 08, managed to snorkel with 7 whale sharks and hit mantas 2 out of our 3 dives. 5 different mantas at different times, one stayed with us for close to a minute.
School of mantas i saw in malapascua.
I swam in pinatubo lake and ended up with really hard hair! Haha.. Nothing to see cause visibility was really bad.
I think diving Taal lake will be more interesting since there are a couple of airplane wrecks there. I asked around before and some local boatmen know the whereabouts of the...
