What does everyone have to say about these two suits.....what did you like about them or not like about them......which one would you recommend? Thank you for your time.

I was wondering if anyone has ever or know how to link a DR nitek3 computer up with a mac becides emulaton software. I have not seen any OSX software and wondering what you guys thought. Any information would be great.

I guess the decision is up to you.....your LDS might let you test the two different styles before you buy. This would be great for you because rather than relying on us, who differ in size, type of diving, etc, you could see which one fits you. Hope this helps.

I was in your shoes before.....I decided to get the book and glad I was. Whenever I get a minute, I can just pull it out and read for a bit.....cannot really do that with a video.

They do not want it to be used for diving.....hmmm.....let me look into it. I will get back to you. I think there are some other companies that make digital compasses too. :outtahere

Well, I think I am a bit old school when it comes to compasses. Never heard of a digital one that did not flaw sooner or later. Maybe they have changed, but I would just rather use the tried and true magnetic ones.

Yeah, you have another vote for a watch and tables from me at first. I mean you might be able to work out a deal with a LDS that sells used computers because if you are not doing much diving, there really is no need for computers that calculate for multiple gasses and such. All in all, I think...

I think it really depends on what kind of diving you are planning on doing. I really like my Dive Rite nitek 3 comp. It compensates for 3 different gasses (21-100% nitrox mixes). I love the unit and would only switch to VR3 if money was not an issue. Hope this helps.

Well, if you want to really hold it together, try gorilla glue. The stuff basically holds two pieces of steel together. I do not know about removing it if you need to though. I am sure there is a disolvent for it.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head!!!!!! I would vote oxycheq. Not that I do not like OMS, I just never had a problem with any of my oxycheq products......I tend to stick with who I trust. Hope this helps.

I have never really been introduced to rebreathers, but was just wondering the cost of an Inspiration. Are they that much better than conventional open circuit diving? Thanks.

Wow, I could go on and on about their plates. I would HIGHLY recommend them. I used to have a OMS SS plate and it always dug into my sides but the Hammerhead SS one doesn't. I love it and cannot see myself purchasing another BP from any different company. They even have "cold water" and...

Oxycheq wings work with the Halcyon BP. I really like their "signature" series.
