    Trigger fishes in Europe?

In August I was doing a night dive at the Atlantic end of the Channel, and we saw a big trigger fish, who is known to live there for a time. Ar these commons on Atlantic European coast? Or are they just present, as distribution tail? Did many of you encountered some in this part of the world?

Fist time I called a dive at depth...

It is a dive where nothing really bad happenned, as I called the dive before having major problems, but I nevertheless learned some things at this occasion. Should I get PADI-certified?

I am currently CMAS **. There is an agreement between my agency and PADI, and I could get AOW quite easaily with few additional check dives and (a lot of?) $$$. I intend to dive abroad in an unknown future. Is it useful to get also PADi certified?

    Lest problem

I am still struggling with my lest adjustment. The problem I have is the following: either I am way too heavy at the beginning of the dive (just need to purge the air from BC and I go down-slowly, but way too easily), or i am way too light at the end of the dive and I cannot make my safety...

My son has a nose problem which prevent him from diving. deviated separation, so all air use only one nostril, and he has recurrent infections on the closed side. The problem was discovered when he was 13, and the ORL doctor told us that he should get surgery once he has stopped to grow. My...

    Newbie from France

Hello, I just found this board today (after a vain search for living boards in French;)). I am a recent CMAS 2*, got my 1* in 2001 and 2* in spring 2003. Total: 25 dives. Fisrt sea water bubbles were in Rodrigues Island, (2 dives only, due to non diving kids), together with my husband and...
