How old is the gauge? With a piece of equipment as important as your pressure gauge might be best just to replace it. Just my 2cents.

I am a total novice. I just got the S95 with Ikelite housing ($389 for the camera $299 for the housing). Very happy with both. I just took it on my first dive today. Here is one of my shots, RAW plus WB editing, no strobe. Good luck with your choice, its a tough call.

I just got back from Palau. Fish n Fins is a great dive operation. They never had more than about 6 people per DM and we had some very new divers. I highly recommend contacting them. They will make sure you're not outside your comfort zone.

Any tips from S95 users as to the best settings to use. I do not have a strobe yet so I will have to do the best I can with editing. I read somewhere that shooting in RAW is the best way to go, then edit. Is that so? Thanks

Had one of my best ever solo dives today at Obyan Beach. Saw a 4 ft Napoleon Wrasse (largest I've seen in Saipan). Also, used my new BP/W system and really liked it. All in all a great dive.

IMO the pad kit is not necessary. Most of my dives are shore dives with some pretty long walks and as long as you have at least a rash guard on for protection it won't be a problem. Good luck and have fun diving in Florida.

My best was my first. It was at Obyan Beach, Saipan early one morning. I was a little nervous and kept looking for the PADI Police to coming in with lights and sirens, they never came. I was the only person at the dive site and the reef, before the tourists arrived, seemed especially lively...

SJ, have you looked at the Zeagle Express Tech? It is very light and easy to travel with and very affordable. I have over 100 dives on mine and love it. NetDoc has a thread on it with tons of info. Good luck.

I just got a used Zeagle backplate and want to attach a 35lbs Brigade wing to it. The stainless bolts had already been used that originally came with the BP. Does anyone know where I can get the bolt kit? Or is there another way to attach the wing? Thanks
