Hi all,

Currently looking to buy a drysuit and finally found one in the right size for a decent price. Just wanted to make sure the zip isn't going to have to be replaced immediately

As soon as the wear reaches a tooth anywhere along the zip it will leak.

Fill the sealing teeth with vaseline

You are giving very terrible advice.

Don't use Vaseline, petroleum products will damage seals. Use drysuit zipper lube.

If you don’t have zipper lube, rubbing a wax candle on the zipper will work. Or even bar soap! A diving friend taught me this. The little hotel soaps are just the right size. Works brilliantly.
