We never got to meet face to face, but shared many conversations, most were started over diving, but usually went in some direction that really meant something. I am at a loss for words the emptiness I feel.

Rest in peace my friend.....

I loved his curiosity, was amazed at his quests, and had some great interactions. I figured I might cross paths with him in person some day, being in the same area, but alas, not to be. :sadness:

Condolences to those who were close to him.

Always enjoyed his posts. Condolences.

One of the nicest and most helpful members on SB. His contributions will continue to help new divers well into the future. Heaven's dive team just got a great diver !

Dennis bought a wing off me a few years back for one such quest.

Condolences to all who will miss him.

I only knew him from his posts here.

I knew him. Dived with him a while ago on the John Jack with his son. Captain Zero always referred to him as “Dad”. He was the nicest guy you ever met. I really liked him.

As a result of his exhaustive investigation into mask scrubbers on SB, he registered “See Star” as a name for the chemical solution he wanted to market.

RIP Dennis. He was one of the best.
Oh, yes, that mask thread was epic!
