Everything in diving is mind over matter. I have seen more students bail out of classes over mental blocks than physical limitations. Short of running out of gas, if you don't mind, it don't matter.
Oh there were days I was questioning why the hell I ever thought I could do this. Usually it’d be the days in between classes that it hit the worst. Super grateful I didn’t give up though :)

I think it’s the commitment to persevere and suceed is what makes the difference, at least that what I keep telling myself

I agree. your desire, passion and work ethic has to outweigh the anxiety and self-doubt.

Way to stick with it. My preference is for the smallest steps to have as continuous progression. Each step is getting closer to the end goal.
And who knows, you might be doing something like diving ancient wrecks below 100 meters one day.
 
My goal is to do technical diving someday…people say it’s a bit ridiculous 🤣

thanks! omg I'd love to do that kind of stuff. wrecks are one of the things I'm most excited to see.
