As with any shop that depends on who you talk to.
Most people I know are very satisfied with them and so am I.

The market is just too small to pull any tricks, you simply won't last.
Lucas have been around for as long as I remember and I started in '97.

That's good to know, thank you!

a data point,
my August 20th shipped today.

But it could've been 1 wk earlier since we had to figure out some embroidery details.

This is what they got me BTW, not the greatest detail but for 5 bucks I'll take it.

If you’re importing to the US, imports under $800 are duty free. Section 321 entries, they’re called. Over $800 you’ve got to pay duties. Drysuit undies are often cleared under garments, which can have duties as high as 21%. Drysuits go under rubber/waterproof garments, if I remember correctly from previous posts.

<—licensed customs broker

This is excellent information. Thanks Marie

At this point I'm just very furious at Fedex.

Why hasn't this company gone bankrupt yet?

They now told me that because my package is International "Economy", it has less priority and will need to wait until a plane has extra space.

So there it is, my package waiting from Wednesday for leftover space.

Upon checking the price difference between Economy and Priority is just ~$20, so if you want faster shipping, call them and maybe get Priority.

Why haven't they gone bankrupt? Because you don't need to be good to stay in business, you just have to be marginally better than the other guy.
And the big secret of shipping, is they all suuuuuuuuck.
Well, some small local couriers are good. But the big guys are all terrible.

Well there’s this thing called a pandemic and then another thing called Brexit stacked on it so there is a reduction of absolute cargo capacity as well as competent creative personnel. I think everybody is struggling.

My suit just shipped. 5 days late so not bad at all. Now hopefully no delays in transit.

Air freight has a massive over demand right now due to how slow ocean freight is. Regular air freight shipments are being bumped left and right.
