Rob, of all the ALs. only the 30 is the new alloy; scrap the others, they are not worth the trouble.
I can't tell what the valves are on the ones you should scrap, but I hate to throw valves away!

This was a good read, especially the paper at the end. It lists when the changeover was from Luxfer. Thanks for sharing

Bummer, the S92 tank I got missed the date by 7 months. It was born 9-87, the changeover was 4-88:mad:

Not a huge deal, I don't dive any AL tanks, but it would have been nice to give to someone who could. Feels funny getting rid of tanks.
 
there is scrap value in aluminum..... it can fund more tanks...

P.S. - aluminum tanks make crappy wind chimes...

Wind chimes are a curse anyway... those things drive me bonkers.
